A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

IWith the fall season upon us I thought I would send a quick note to check in. We made it through the summer, but it seems we are still not out of the woods. Covid is hanging around and making it difficult to schedule anything or make plans - but we will persevere and do what we can at the NAA. We decided it best to cancel our upcoming demos, but will hopefully resume in the spring. We are also in the process of scheduling a few shows for the winter season, in hopes that we can assemble as a group and share our art and our time with each other. That being said, we appreciate all the folks who have paid their dues or given donations during this difficult time.  This past year has left many of us at a personal loss as well. Not only have some of us lost family members, but we have lost some of our longstanding NAA family and want to take a moment to mention Fran Palmieri and Joan Sweeney, two wonderful members and artists. They were always willing to help out at shows and we were so blessed to have them as members for so many years. I know there may have been some other members we have lost this year of which we were not aware, so we ask that you please share this information with us so we can recognize them as well. Our members are our lifeline, and it is important they be remembered. The NAA is ever grateful for each and every one of our members and we hope to continue to share our love of the arts and the Town of Norwood with all of you for a long time to come. Next year "our town" will celebrate it's 150th year of existence. There will be many things going on throughout the year and we hope to be a part of them, and create some of our own as well. Look for more information in future upcoming newsletters. Until then, please stay well and let us know if there is anything exciting in your life you would like to share. We need more uplifting personal moments and stories these days. After all, what is life without each other and the friendship, camaraderie, love and creativity between artists.  Keep smiling and creating your joy, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
