Inez Reardon
Memorial Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Award Winner William Morrissey
William is a Norwood High School Senior attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in the fall with an intended major/minor in Industrial Design.
He is currently a part of Art Honor and has participated in the Memory Project several times. Most recently, He has helped the drama program with building and painting their sets for productions along with projections for the past summer musical, and paintings for the METG Festival.
His favorite thing is getting inspiration from the artists around him, and seeing other people get inspiration from his work. He loves seeing the light bulb go off in people’s head when they notice something in his artwork that leads to them creating their own new ideas. “Everyone inspires each other and helps create better and better ideas.”

2023 Art in the Park
The 46th Annual Art in the Park Show and Sale was again a highly
successful event. Held on June 10th in Norwood Center by the Gazebo,
many talented local and regional artists showed and sold their work
until the rain began. The show was judged by local artist, Diane Panarelli Miller. Also included in the event were artisan tables with textile, glasswork, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, artwork and wood, along with a kids activity table with a face painter. Thank you to everyone who helped. We look forward to seeing all of you next year for another fun day!

â›± 2023 Summer Featured Artist
MICHELLE QUINN
Michelle Quinn was first introduced to fine art by
her aunt in the mid 80’s and painted on and off
over the next thirty-five years. No matter how often
life got in the way, painting was always in the back of her mind. She would look at a beautiful scene and was hit with the urge to capture the feeling and the mood that a picture didn’t always convey. Painting is her filter.
Although she loves painting still life and animals, her passion is for landscape paintings. Traveling with her family to Inish More, Aran Islands, Ireland leaves her (and her camera) full of images that take her breath away.

A MESSAGE FROM THE WEB MASTERS
THE NORWOOD ART ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN AROUND FOR SOME TIME AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.
ALTHOUGH THE THE PANDEMIC HAS HAS SLOWED US DOWN A BIT, THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL. QUITE SIMPLY ART MATTERS. ABOVE ALL ELSE, IT IS THE PARTICIPATION AND INVOLVEMENT OF ALL MEMBERS THAT WILL PROVE THAT FACT.
