Don went through reams of paper in his early years drawing fantasy images with pencil. Later he studied oil painting with private teachers. Throughout his life he has enjoyed experimenting with sculpture in clay, plastic, wood and metal as well as drawing and painting. He is excited to be studying watercolor with Joan Percy and Oils with Jonathan Leo Fairbanks and enjoys providing visuals for a backdrop to religious services. His artistic philosophy is to inspire with color and surprise with contrast.
