CYNTHIA RUDOLPH

Cindy Rudolph, a longtime Norwood resident, received a BFA from the University of Denver and works in a variety of media including calligraphic art, pastel, watercolor and collage.

She received Best in Show at Art in the Park in 2019, is a past president of the Norwood Art Association and a former anchor at the NAA Fine Artists Gallery & Studio. In addition to participating in group shows with Masscribes and NAA, she has had solo shows at Barnes & Noble, Perk’s Coffee House, the NAA Fine Artists Gallery and a two-person show at Westwood Library. She is also the recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant which resulted in a show at Norwood’s Morrill Memorial Library.

On the staff of Norwood Library for over twenty years until her retirement, she was the in-house graphic artist in addition to her other library duties. Using her art and hand lettering skills, she created hundreds of original posters for library programming and other activities.

She has enjoyed sharing her love of calligraphy and other art related topics for many years in Westwood and Norwood Adult Education and through library, school and retirement community workshops.
